Jonny Hawkins is a full-time freelance cartoonist from Sherwood, Michigan. His single-panel gag comics have appeared in more than 900 publications. Each year, he creates three daily desk calendars--Dog Cartoon-A Day, Medical Cartoon-A-Day, and Teacher Cartoon-A-Day. He has also illustrated several humor books, including more than seventy-five Chicken Soup for the Soul editions. He is married to Carissa and has three children: Nate, Zach, and Kara.
