Michael Pedretti is currently more than halfway through writing a twelve-volume epic called "The Story of Our Stories", which tells the journey of an archetypal American family starting from the Mitochondrial Eve right through the next generation with a focus on the last families to live in Europe and the first families to settle in small town America in the second half of the nineteenth century. Time to Journey Home is volume I of that series. Pedretti has a master’s degree in theater from the University of Kansas and he majored in English at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He taught acting and directing at Berry College, the University of Dayton and Davis & Elkins College in Elkins WV. The author has directed over 100 theater productions and presented/produced over 170 shows from 30 countries. He founded Movement Theatre International in 1979 and served as its Artistic Director for over 20 years. He recently completed a two-volume book covering the work of the originating performance artists whose work was presented at the international theater festivals he produced and who challenged the theater world in the later part of the twentieth century.
