MATTHEW DAVID GOODWIN is an assistant professor in the Department of English at the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey. His research is centered on the experience of migration, in particular how Latinx writers are using science fiction, fantasy, and digital culture to explore migration. He is the editor of Latinx Rising: An Anthology of Latinx Science Fiction and Fantasy as well as a forthcoming young adult anthology of speculative fiction.
FREDERICK LUIS ALDAMA is a Distinguished University Professor, Arts & Humanities Distinguished Professor of English, University Distinguished Scholar, and Alumni Distinguished Teacher at the Ohio State University in Columbus as well as an Eisner award winning author.
