Martin Bailey is a Senior Correspondent for The Art Newspaper, and is the leading UK specialist on Van Gogh. With a background in investigative journalism, Martin Bailey began work on Van Gogh in the late 1980s. He has curated two exhibitions and written extensively on the artist. His book Letters from Provence (1992) sold over 60,000 copies in five languages, including German, French, Danish and Spanish. He is also the author of The Sunflowers Are Mine: The Story of Van Gogh’s Masterpiece (2013), Studio of the South: Van Gogh in Provence (2013), and Young Vincent: The Story of Van Gogh’s Years in England (1990).
Anna Gruetzner Robins is a Canadian art historian who is a professor at the University of Reading. She is a specialist in the art of Walter Sickert about which she has written three books. She completed her BA at the University of Toronto and her MA and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
