Celia Anderson holds a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Her writing career began in 2009, with her debut novel Love, Ocean. Over a decade later she is still sharing with the world, Authentic Black Spaces is her fifth published work. A TEDx speaker who is known for her ability to connect with all walks of life, Celia has traveled to hundreds of conferences and events internationally delivering messages of hope and wisdom. She is also a Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame inductee, an honor given to her for using her sports platform to empower her community. The former collegiate and professional athlete currently resides in Columbus, Ohio where she works for the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, teaches public speaking, and prides herself on being the best mother in the world to her only daughter, Gabrielle Simone.
