The 2022 Annual Supplement, like prior Supplements, includes excerpts from recent scholarship and from important new decisions of the Supreme Court--including major cases on abortion, gun rights, religious displays, and campaign finance.
This term reflects the dramatic shift in the orientation of the Court after the appointment by President Trump of three new Justices. Important decisions on the First Amendment’s speech and religion clauses, the Establishment Clause, the Second Amendment, and Fourteenth Amendment fundamental rights will be highlighted.
