This illustrated volume is dedicated to the painter Filippo Rossi (Florence, 1970), one of the greatest Italian exponents of contemporary sacred art. Rossi has been exhibiting since the 1990s, and for many years he has been developing themes relating to Christianity. With works in Italian and foreign collections, he was the youngest of the artists invited to the meeting with Benedict XVI in the Sistine Chapel on November 21, 2009, and two years later he joined the competition for the construction of an ambo to be placed in the Florence Cathedral.
