After a life filled with turmoil, suffering, and a glimmer of hope, Kimberly is now on a new journey at a Historically Black College in the South. With a new lease on life, and hope for her future she desires to embrace it all and become submerged in academia and the excellence she knows she is destined for.

With bright eyes, Kimberly soon learns not all that glitters is gold, and sometimes the grass isn’t as green as you think. In spite of this though, she remains hopeful and steadfast. This new journey, though different from the previous has its own lessons and blessings. Fasten your seatbelt, and prepare for the ride!
