Leading photobook scholars select exemplary new voices in the medium and address its social and creative potential
The past decade or so has seen a massive expansion in the idioms, uses and innovations of the photobook form. Photography Bound, based on a conference organized by Antonio Cataldo and Adrià Julià in 2020 at the University of Bergen and Fotogalleriet, Oslo, considers this phenomenon, presenting a selection of photobooks chosen by leading scholars that radically and intimately engage with photography and publishing.
