Rocked by tragedy, a Hamptons socialite and her three daughters must come together to save the family business they’ve neglected. In doing so not only will they heal their rifts but they will turn strangers into friends.
When Bea Wheeler walks in on her husband Johnny in bed with her best friend, it’s fair to say she’s shocked. When he unexpectedly drops dead at her feet, it’s the beginning of an eventful year in the life of this society scion.
In the meantime Bea’s daughters find themselves confronted with some major challenges of their own. Lauren is shocked when she discovers that her husband wants to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a rock singer. Unfortunately there’s no room for his wife in these ambitious plans. Jill has just returned from Goa, India, where her guru boyfriend has been accused of embezzlement. And Grace has been enjoying a stellar career at ride-sharing company Polys when news of her affair with big boss Jay Polys leaks. As a consequence an ethics complaint is filed against her and her contract is terminated.
And then of course there’s the resort, the family business Johnny was running-badly, it now seems, since the resort is on the verge of going under. And so the Wheeler women decide to join forces to try and perform a miracle by turning the resort around-and in the process turn their own lives around as well.
