People’s pasts, personalities, and futures can be strongly affected by museums, but they are often too tiring to enjoy. Ralph Rugoff, a reviewer of culture, says that museum displays often make visitors not want to learn more. Formal teaching has been done the same way for a long time, and arguments about formal education practise are still based on the idea that education is a process of passing on information. In a different way of thought, it would be more important for students not to make a lot of big mistakes but to think critically about how history is made.
