We all have Life Lines... but some of us do not reveal them.
Life Lines...A book of poetry & "things" inspired by my Life, offers the reader a window into the heart and soul of a "sporadic writer". It provides one woman’s truth that is introspective and reflective while also bare, exposed, and vulnerable. Although several pieces are through the lens of one’s young adult years, most of the writings were spawned during the prime of the writer’s "Senior" years. Many of these "Senior" years occurred during the Pandemic season, expressing ’specks’ of life, waiting to be seen.
Life Lines is both a book of poetry and of "things" that have made an impact on the author’s life.
In this unique memoir-like account, you’ll discover:
- The powerful impression (sometimes conscious and other times not) children make on adults
- The value and importance of family as influencers throughout our lives
- The impact of being Black in America (BIA)
- Why having self-awareness can be our strength
Life Lines is a retrospective reflection based on one woman’s lived experiences; private and sometimes public. It is hoped that you will be moved by ’Sister’ Anita’s words.
