Travelling almost unpassable roads, living in remote mountain villages, learning an unwritten language, entering a culture utterly different from the one they had left behind, Robin and Delwyn McKenzie had no idea what adventures awaited when they set out from New Zealand with their young family to undertake a Bible translation project in Indonesia.
And then having to continue the project from the Philippines? How realistic would that be?
In the face of these challenges the McKenzies experienced God’s faithfulness each step of the journey. That faithfulness resulted in the Tabulahan language being written for the first time and the translation of significant portions of scripture. It also inspired the original songs that flow through this story.
