One of today’s biggest challenges has been to reduce the alarming rates of sedentary lifestyles. Adherence to regular physical activity is a very promising subject in exercise and sports science worldwide. This book is made up of two undergraduate course completion papers (TCC) in physical education from the Estácio de Sá University, which set out to investigate and discuss issues related to motivation for the practice of physical activity by the elderly in open or closed environments, as well as the practice of beach tennis by people of different age groups, respectively. It is hoped that it will contribute not only to reflections on the art of exercise prescription in the day-to-day life of physical education professionals, but will also serve to guide and inspire new CBT students.
