抬頭看看你的教室裡面，是男生比較多，還是女生比較多呢？在英國，新生兒男寶寶比女寶寶還要多，而且近兩百年來，每年都是這樣！
為什麼男寶寶比較多？有一種說法，女孩和女人通常活得更久。男孩和男人通常會做危險度較高的事情，這代表他們可能會遭受意外或死亡。
即使在英國有較多的男孩誕生，成年女性的人數還是多於男性。
Look around your classroom. Are there more boys or more girls? In England, more baby boys are born than girls. It has happened every year for almost 200 years!
Why are there more baby boys? One reason is that girls and women usually live longer. Boys and men usually do more dangerous things. That means they could get into accidents and die. Even though more boys are born in England, there are more grown-up women than men.
