登革熱的防治，除仰賴第一線醫療專業人員的警覺通報，即時監測疫情以利防疫工作及早進行外；降低登革出血熱病患之疾病嚴重度及死亡發生，也需依靠醫療專業人員早期診斷及妥適治療。本署於今（2013）年重新編修「登革熱/登革出血熱臨床症狀、診斷與治療」手冊，內容以臨床醫療專家的寶貴診治經驗為主，並輔以世界衛生組織近年出版之診斷治療原則，期能提供臨床醫師更新、更妥善的診治參考。
