This letter addresses some of the arguments put forth by Archdeacon Philip Freeman in his book 'Rites and Ritual'. The authors are respectful but firm in their disagreements, providing evidence from scripture and tradition to support their position on the frequency of Holy Communion. The appendix contains additional research and historical context relevant to the debate.
