The culture of a place is just like a highway, for only when it’s flowing smoothly can its development be sustainable. The 10 major highways featured in this series cover most of the important areas, villages, and tourist attractions in Tainan. At first, the stories of these 10 roads were written individually, so each one was like an independent piece introducing the cultural landscapes of a highway. However, if readers see this highway issue as a whole, it is not only a topographic record, but also a comprehensive history book with interesting cultural stories and introductions to towns in Tainan.
