A Pot Full of Tales uses favorite folk tales to teach children to read, think, and write critically and creatively. Storytellers made their living traveling from one town to another, spreading their tales as they entertained audiences. Because the stories weren't written down, they often changed each time they were told. The tellers used their creativity and imagination to make the stories more exciting each time they were repeated. Stories include The Brementown Musicians, Caps for Sale, Such is the Way of the World, The Three Little Pigs, The Golden Goose, Stone Soup. Ming Lo Moves the Mountain, The Funny Little Woman, The Emperor's New Clothes, and Snow White and Rose Red.
