The food did take a while to prepare but the time it takes is so worth it in the long run.
I still use the book now - a year on and follow the dinner recipes as they're so nice. After the Easter choc-fest I'm about to start the book again at Week 1 - but I don't follow it so strictly anymore... I still have a glass of wine and sqaure of chocolate, I just follow the diet and exercise plan.
This book really is amazing, but you have to be dedicated. I've always been large framed, but at the end of the 8 weeks I had strangers in the gym commenting on how toned I looked.
